Whatever I’ve done in life, it’s always been connected to stories.
Whether I was scaring school friends with ghostly tales of strange apparitions, leading role players on exciting adventures as a Games Master, or helping railway employees connect with their company’s heritage, storytelling has always been at the heart of everything I do.
I studied BA Film at university, where I typed my first full-length script on an Olivetti word processor. After university, I became involved in various productions, helping to develop stories while continuing to write my own shorts and feature scripts.
To pay the bills, I’ve worked as a Journalist and currently as an Internal Communications professional. But even while working in these fields, I continued writing, produced a short film and entered my scripts into competitions—where I had the occasional bit of success that kept me motivated.
I also have an MA in Screenwriting from UAL, which I enrolled on to hone my craft, build connections and ultimately embark on journey to be a professional screenwriter who moves, excites, and engages audiences. And, reader, I graduated with Distinction.
